Identity and full can and box package design created for Modelo Ranch Water under Constellation Brands while working at the Landor & Fitch design agency’s Chicago office. This design was created with Texas in mind, the place of origin for Ranch Water (and myself, born and raised). Custom-made bold sans-serif Texas-branded iron typography paired with an agave + lime flavor icon and the “quenching” blue gradient condensation graphic on the top and bottom of the can/box nicely ties into the idea of how refreshing ranch water really is when out spending time in the Texas sun. The look and feel of the design bring true authenticity to Modelo and its tradition of heritage. This initial partnership with Modelo opened the doors up for other Landor & Fitch projects with Constellation Brands.
