Entering the world of Winter toy/sports with Sun Squad, a Summer seasonal Target owned brand, a design system was developed to inspire guests to have fun and play outdoors during the winter months. A set of icons and Winter color palette was created to make the brand feel more relevant for the Winter season. The photo art direction was ideated in an indoor set with a blue backdrop and “snow” with evergreen to maintain Sun Squad’s current indoor photo art direction style and minimal propping, keeping the focus on the product.
